Mondays...they go by sooo fast! I had so many things to do, and got around only couple things. Today was a spring like day! Beautiful sun and a warm breeze! I even opened our bedroom window for the first time this year. Changer l'air is a french expression which means "change the air". The first time I told Doc I needed to "change the air of the house", he had that smirk I know too much. The one he does when I either misuse a word or translated a French expression word to word, and makes no sense! Sometimes I use those clumsy expressions anyway...
Here is a picture of our coffee wall. As most of you guys know, we loooove coffee at the Harrills' house. My italian family only swear by the moka espresso maker (3rd from the left), which is the most common stovetop espresso maker by Bialetti. The french press makes great coffee for a small crowd. Doc an I usually make our morning doppio with our Starbucks Barista, which always make a perfect espresso. Before buying the barista, we used our bialetti espresso maker (the 2nd from the left). We got it from my aunt who lived in Bari at the time. This maker has a little cylinder with hole, which creates a nice foam on top of the drink...it was our favorite.
Doc got our dual-spout stovetop (right) at a little market in Italy last summer. He only uses this maker when he has meaningful conversations and meetings with people.
